When you first visit the site, you may create an account: your username will be your email address and you may select your own password.  Students, parents and community members may create accounts.  A great feature of The Blue Devil Online Store is that parents may add their students to their accounts.

Applications are now available to seniors interested in giving a speech during the 2016 Graduation Ceremony.  Please ask Ms. Carmen Schnathorst for a Graduation Speech Application.  The application and typewritten speech are due April 1, 2016 by 4p.m.  Finalists will be invited to a live audition the week of April 11, 2016. Speakers will be chosen and notified by April 22, 2016.

 

Attention AP Students: AP exams are available for purchase in the Webstore now!  $97 per test.  No refunds, so purchase carefully.  Stay tuned for more information, including dates for in person sales in March.

 

If you are a junior boy or junior girl interested in government, come to the Career Center to apply for the American Legion Boys State and Girls State all-expense paid summer programs.  Students will actively participate in all phases of creating and running a working government. Those who apply must be strong academically, have leadership skills and an interest in community and government. Deadline to apply is February 12.  Applications are available in the Career Center.

 

CLUBS: Are you interested in learning more about a TEDX event right here at DHS?  Do you want to speak at or plan the event?  Come to P-25 every Friday to learn more and help with the event!

 

Gender fluid refers to a gender which varies over time.  Want to learn more and eat some free snacks?  Come to the Gay-Straight Alliance meeting this Friday, 2/12 at lunch in Room L-20, Mr. Wheeler’s room.

The ASVAB test will be given to all interested students on February 22 from 9-12 in the library. The ASVAB is a free test that will prepare you for SAT and college entrance exams, and will give you an idea of the type of career you might be best suited for.  Come to the Career Center to sign up for the ASVAB.

The Davis Homeless Shelter needs your help!  Items needed include warm clothes, canned or non-perishable foods and soaps and shampoos.  There is a donation box inside the Front Office.
