DSHS Student Health & Wellness 2018-19

Welcome to the DSHS Health and Wellness workshops and presentations for the 2018-19 school year!

Each month we offer a variety of opportunities to support our Davis Senior High School students on important topics about their health and wellness. Scroll down for the 2018-19 calendar to select the topics you are most interested in attending. Once you have decided on the DSHS Health and Wellness event you want to attend follow one of the two possible paths to enroll.

  1. Workshop/presentations that are scheduled after the school day does not require enrollment prior to attending the event. Students who want to attend an after school session should show up at the assigned location when it begins. (For example, a workshop on the Growth Mindset is offered in the DHS Library at 2:30 pm in February...students who are going should arrive at the library at 2:30 pm.)
  2. Workshop/presentations that are scheduled during the school day require students to enroll in the right column of this page. Simply click on the workshop you would like to attend and fill out the google form to enroll. These workshops are open to all DSHS students. Once enrolled, students should attend the session, sign in at the event, and then absence will be excused. (For example, a workshop on Academic Stress is offered in the West Conference room of the library during 7th period in November...students who want to attend should click on the event listed below, fill out the google form to enroll, sign in at the session and the class period will be excused.)

As you grow into adulthood, we know that your needs expand to include topics outside of the academic world which may impact your ability to learn. We are thrilled to offer these experiences in a system of support through the work of DSHS counselors, teachers, nurses, district staff, and site administrators.

Wishing you all a healthy school year!
