THIS DAY IN HISTORY: 1945 - Delegates from about 50 countries met in San Francisco to organize the United Nations.


  • Breakfast Served Daily:  Cereal w/Graham Cracker, Breakfast Pizza, Assorted Breakfast Sandwiches, Scones, Breakfast Burrito, Chicken & Cheese Quesadilla, Pancakes w/ Sausage, Assorted Muffins, Chicken & Biscuit Slider, Yogurt Parfait w/Graham Cracker.

Lunch: Today’s Lunch specials in the ASC Café are Nachos (Beef and nacho cheese and bean and cheese), Grilled veggie sandwich and Roasted Chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy.



Are you interested in learning about the effects of oil on wildlife? Scott Buhl, a Responder specialists at the UCD oiled Wildlife Network will be giving a presentation at lunch in room S-10. Hope to see you there!


Did you know that if a bystander uses CPR on someone who is having a cardiac arrest they are 2 to 3 times more likely to survive? Join the Red Cross Club at lunch in S-01 to practice and learn more about CPR for volunteer hours. See you there!


Hey Devils, don’t miss, “A Tribute to Tony Fields” Musical Show TODAY and Saturday, April 27th @ 7pm, Tickets will be sold @ the door for $8 for students. Prepare for a night of dancing, singing, and inspiration as we honor a Davis Star by highlighting our talented performers.

Sports Physical Clinic! Saturday, June 1st 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.  Sutter Family Medicine 2030 Sutter Pl., Suite 2000. Athletes in grades 7-12 are encouraged to complete their sports physicals this spring for the 2019-20 school year. $20 donation benefits DSHS Athletics. Attention seniors! Senior Ball is May 11th at The Hyatt in downtown Sacramento 1209 L St, Sacramento, CA. Last ticket sale date is this Friday at lunch in the Finance office. All seniors wishing to purchase tickets all forms can be found in the front office. To ensure your group sits together, please have a representative of your group deliver all completed forms at the time of purchase.

CAST Testing for juniors, originally slated for April 24th and 25th, has been rescheduled to May 22nd and May 23rd.



Are you interested in learning about green transportation? Dr. Susan Handy, whose research focuses in strategies for reducing automobile dependence, will be giving a presentation at lunch this Friday in room S-8. Hope to see you there!


Hey Women in STEM. Join us this Friday, April 26th, to get volunteer hours for helping us prepare for the Girls Mathalon.


Do you like breathable air? If so, Bike to school during May is bike month. If you bike the last 4, Wednesday’s of May you will get a prize.

“Attention car lovers! The Devil Day Car Show is coming! Hosted by the Davis Auto Tech Boosters and the DHS Auto Shop, the show will take place on the Quad, Wednesday, May 29, 8AM to 1PM. Pick up an application in O-3 or in the main office. Students and non-students may apply. First place winners will receive a $20 O’Reilly’s gift card and free oil change from the DHS Auto Shop. Apps are due May 17. Get your application in now for the 2019 Devil Day Car Show!”



Attention students! Korematsu PTO needs volunteers, this Saturday the 27th at the Odd Fellows Lodge from 1:30 – 5:00pm (or any time between those hours) to help set-up and decorate for their annual auction, Havana Nights themed!  Snacks and refreshments will be provided. If you can please email ashleyburgdorf.kpto@gmail.com to confirm if you are available and the hours you can volunteer it will be much appreciated.
