Yearbook Senior Ads

Attention Senior Parents!

Make sure your senior has a keepsake of this important year. Deadlines for purchasing a yearbook and/or a commemorative ad are coming up!

PURCHASE A YEARBOOK

Go to the school website at http://dshs.djusd.net/ and click on “Yearbook Website” on the left to purchase a yearbook directly from Walsworth.

If you are not sure if you have purchased a yearbook already, please contact the yearbook staff at blueandwhiteyearbook@gmail.com.

Prices and deadlines for yearbook pre-sales are as follows:

·         Until Dec. 21: $95

·         Dec. 22-Feb. 1: $110

·         A limited number of books will be available for sale in May for $125.

PURCHASE A SENIOR AD

Share your memories and a congratulatory message with your graduate by purchasing a senior ad. Go to the school website at http://dshs.djusd.net/ and click on “Yearbook Website” on the left. Scroll down to find the “Senior Ad” link.

You will submit text and photos; the yearbook staff will design it to match the rest of the ads in the section. To see examples of senior ads, click here

Senior ads may be submitted until Friday, Jan. 25. No senior ads can be purchased after Jan. 25. Here are the prices:

·         Full page ad: $280

·         1/2 page ad: $175

·         1/4 page ad: $100

·         1/8 page ad: $65

Friday, January 25th, is the deadline for submitting information and articles for the February edition of the Davis High School PTA newsletter. Please send news, announcements, etc. to the DHS PTA Media Listserve at DHSPTAmedia@mailman.dcn.org.Be sure to include your name, email address and phone number in case the newsletter editor has questions about your submission and also note that not every submission will be automatically included. Inclusion is at the discretion of our communications committee and is subject to timing, the appropriate venue(s), and frequency of the request(s).The newsletter is the ONLY communication tool that reaches ALL DHS families, whether they have internet access or not. The newsletter is generally published around the first of each month.  This is a great way to inform, notify or enlist parents' help for upcoming DHS school and student activities.

 

PSAT Scores: Students can pick up their PSAT scores at the Career Center.

CAREERS:

The Rotary Club is offering two all-expense paid summer camps in June for high school juniors:  Camp Royal leadership-training camp is filled with ideas and strategies to help students become more effective leaders. Camp Venture is a motivational summer camp for students interested in pursuing a career in business, particularly as entrepreneurs. The deadline to apply is March 15.  Come to the Career Center for Camp Royal and Camp Venture applications.

Attention Basketball FANS! Break the Record Night is coming Friday Jan. 18! We are expecting a very large crowd as the boys and girls basketball teams take on Cosumnes Oaks. All games will be held in the North (Big) Gym. Girls JV 4:00, Girls varsity 5:30, and Boys Varsity at 7pm. With limited seating we will be pre-selling tickets at the link below. If tickets are sold out online, there will be no option for purchase at the door. Presale tickets will be electronic so all you will need is to show your purchased ticket on your mobile device when you arrive at the game. Don’t wait! Get your tickets to ensure your seat. Students with DHS ASB Cards - Please pick up your FREE ticket in advance on Tuesday Jan. 15th and Wed. Jan 16th at lunch. Show your ASB card at the finance office to receive your entry ticket for the game. Students that do not get their tickets in advance may not get into the game if it sells out prior to game day. Students that lose their ticket will NOT receive an additional free ticket and will need to purchase a ticket online.
